New releases

Fork Brewing Parallel Importer porter (4.8%) - Our second-ever batch! P.I. was an international collab with Matthew Clarke from Hawkshead Brewery (UK), and is a Kiwi take on his award-winning Brodie's Prime Porter. This deliciously balanced hoppy, brown porter has enough chocolate-y malt to tickle the tonsils of dark beer lovers and a cornucopia of juicy berry hop notes to please hop fans. Available today.

Sunshine Brewery Never Mind the Bollocks IPA (6.5%) – Available from the taproom tomorrow. 50L only, kia hohoro!

Good George Coffee IPA (6%) - Using a nice malt base that incorporates a small amount of rye we have added Biftu Gudina Ethiopian single origin coffee by Rocket Coffee. This coffee adds nice floral citrus and berry notes which integrate nicely with the citrus, grapefruit and pine flavours and aromas of the hops. At 54 IBUs it has a nice bitterness on the finish that will leave you wanting more.

Sprig & Fern Kohatu pilsner 5% - This is our 2nd fresh hop pilsner release for 2016. Brewed using a single hop variety called Kohatu. This hop delivers tropical fruit and piney characteristics. True to a pilsner style, this beer has a wonderful crisp aftertaste.

Sprig & Fern Black Tyre stout 4.2% - A traditional cream stout, also known as a milk or sweet stout. A blend of specialty roasted malts followed by an addition of lactose makes this dark beer delightfully creamy and full flavoured.

Cassels & Sons Milked Stout kegged version (5.2%) – carbonated, filtered version of the old favourite. First batch was out four weeks ago, next batch due next week.

Cassels & Sons Heart of Darkness black IPA (6.1%) – a great balance between IPA hoppy flavours and dark roasted malt flavours.

Cassels & Sons Queenstown IPA – Smiths Craft Beer Bar home brew IPA champion, commercially brewed at Cassels & Sons 600L wood fired brewery. Extremely hoppy/fruity.

Behemoth Tasty Beverage extra pale ale is now available in rip lid cans.
