The 2017 Winter Ales Festival will be held on 22 July at Hunter Lounge, Wellington.
The event, which has run every year since 2010, was in some doubt, but it is on again this year in partnership with Craft Beer Capital. It will be back in its traditional home, which is being refurbished right now.
600 tickets will go on sale on 1 June – booking details to follow – and the basic package is $60, including eight tasters and a feed. Premium packages will also be available with benefits from Craft Beer Capital venues.
The Festival will bring its range of welcome winter warmers, with more than 30 beers expected from the likes of McLeod’s, Choice Bros, Hallertau, Eagle and Bach.
Wild & Woolly will be there with what will probably be its last-ever brew, and importer Beertique is importing winteriness from UK brewers Beavertown and Tiny Rebel.
Expect plenty of handpulls, a Nitro Bar, and a Sour Bar.
Meanwhile, mark your calendar for 22 July.
