Meat the neighbours with Moa’s Josh Scott – Saturday, 1.30pm, Miss Moonshines, 130 Ponsonby Rd, Auckland 

New Release Tuesday – 5pm Tuesday 10 May, Hashigo Zake, 25 Taranaki St, Wellington. Te Aro’s barrel aging programme is ready for harvest, and you get to reap the rewards. Six months ago a 9% imperial stout was brewed, and then split into two different types of barrel - one Porters Pinot Noir barrel, and one Bourbon Barrel.

Sense of Taste – 7pm Wednesday 11 May, The Hop House, Mount Maunganui, $25. Join Beer Without Borders as we put five beers on tasting, with each representing a different taste sensation - Sweet, Salty, Sour, Bitter and Umami
