Epic Danger Zone XPA (5.5%) - brewed to celebrate 15 years of beer at Pomeroy's Pub in Christchurch. Danger Zone is made with 100% US grown Pale Ale malt, and Amarillo and Mosaic hops and was inspired partly by our collaboration with Ava, the Beer Barroness Lady Danger. Extra pale in colour, a low level of bitterness, but big level of fruity hoppiness on the aroma and flavour. Great beer for summer drinking.
Sunshine Te Mex Mexican Lager (5%) - a crisp and aromatic lager, refreshing and quenching. It is a Mexican lager but made the New Zealand way with locally grown ingredients. The best two row pilsner barley for a light malt background, 20% Gisborne grown maize for a bigger mouthfeel and fullness, and Riwaka hops. Available at Sunshine's taproom from Thursday.
Fork Brewing Saisonic The Wedgehog 6.6% Juniper, Lime and Tonic Saison - This Saison is super-light and clean, brewed with house Saison yeast strain, along with juniper berry and fresh lime zest. Schweppes Tonic Water was used to give a tiny hint of bitterness and a bit of sweetness in the place of hops. IBU=0!
