New releases

Sunshine Brewery Dos Didos Mis Amigos (5%) - Riwaka Hops with Mezcal-soaked Ancho and Chipotle Chillies. A rebrew of our Chilli Te Mex. Available in the Taproom, and a few select bars around the country from Thursday.

McLeod's 802 #1 Unfiltered IPA (7%) - Fresh. Unfiltered. Unapologetic. 802 #1 (May or an Cèitean in Scottish Gaelic) is brimming with Mosaic and Citra hops. It's the inaugural brew in our monthly 802 Series of unfiltered IPAs showcasing different hops with each brew. 802 is the telephone code for Vermont, homeland to Head Brewer Jason Bathgate. The beers, then, are his homage to the land of authentic maple syrup, moose, & Bernie Sanders. Pour #1 and be prepared for a tropical, dank, juicy dip into big IPA territory with balanced bitterness and a delectable finish. Best served fresh and kept refrigerated. Available May through June and on tap at McLeod's Pizza Barn.

McLeod's Billycan Milk Stout (5.5%) - A nod to trusty milk cans of old, Billycan Milk Stout pours black as night with a creamy off-white head. Boasting Tahitian vanilla and cacao nibs, expect aromas of roast malts and a luxuriant palate with delicate carbonation, coffee and cocoa laced with vanilla and rum. Deep chocolate, coffee and liquorice notes lead to a full-bodied and rich, balanced bitterness for a soft, toasty finish. Filling a billycan was never so good. Brewer's Guild NZ Bronze Medal 2016

Epic Magic Dust IPA (6.9%) - Magic Dust is built on the original “Mosaic – One Trick Pony” beer. It has is a rich copper colour with a wonderful hoppy aroma of passionfruit and citrus, the lupulin powder delivers a sticky guava flavour with medium bitterness and a hoppy aftertaste. ABV: 6.9% IBU: 45. Hops: Mosaic (LupuLN2™). Malt: Pale Ale.

Concept Brewing Polarity Shifter NZ Pale Ale (5.8%) - Polarity Shifter is a juicy hoppy NZ Pale Ale packed with the goodness of Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin and a cameo in the kettle by Pacifica. All big late hops ready to hit the taste buds while a nice malty beersie backs it up. Available from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Concept Brewing Red Baron Red Pilsner (4.8%) - Sessionable beer brewed with the cooler months in mind with a nice malt sweetness coming through on the palate once the hops subside. It won't whack you in the taste buds too hard, with a more subtle handed approach to the hopping. Its red hue comes from Gladfield Red Back malt to give it balance to carry the hops but not be too over whelming. Available from This email address is being protected from spambots.
