The successful applicant will be trained in all facets of beer production by one of the country’s top brewing teams. They will be safely operating all brewing and packaging machinery with cellar-work and CIP of machinery and equipment. Regular monitoring and testing of the product and ensuring it remains within our specifications and standard operating procedures. A tertiary qualification in Brewing, Food Science, Winemaking or related discipline and experience within a food/beverage manufacturing environment would be regarded highly but the right candidate can be nurtured without having completed these.

Being part of a small brewing operation the successful candidate will be required to perform a multitude of cellar tasks, complete basic laboratory analysis and assist with bottling line operations. This is a very hands-on role as you will be involved in all general cellar operations from transfers, tank cleaning and sanitising, through to filtering and priming/carbonation of bright beer for packaging. Duties will also include Kegging and supervision and training on the bottling line, machinery operation and barrel work. Cellar experience is considered essential and the successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 2 years experience and be familiar with Cellar processes and procedures. Ideally the candidate will also have experience operating Beverage Packaging equipment
